In the near future, a city council committee could likely recommend an ordinance to the full council
that would keep pit bulls out of the city. City Attorney Jim Taylor says the pit bull ordinance is necessary because
the surrounding cities have banned pit bulls and "the owners are likely to move to Cabot."
The pit bull
ordinance would require registration of pit bulls already in the city and make it illegal to bring more in.
