Do you know
an irresponsible pit
bull owner?
Sure you do. We ALL know somebody - a friend, a neighbor - there
is bound to be someone around us who is irresponsible with his or her pit bull.

Sadly, it is these people, whether they are aware they are being irresponsible
or not, that cause communities to pass pit bull bans and regulations. These are the people who allow their
pit bull to roam free, and those who fail to properly socialize their pit bull and then condemn it to a life on
a chain. Then, there are those who just don't realize that owning a pit bull, or any dog for that matter, is a responsibility. Unfortunately, these
people aren't only failing their dogs, they are failing the entire breed and responsible owners alike.
Education is the key to winning the fight against BSL. Its
true that we need to educate legislators, but in order to keep BSL from being proposed in the first place, we also
need to make pit bull owners aware that their actions (or inactions) can and do effect all pit bull owners
across the country.

Because many people are uncomfortable approaching others to offer
education, we need a tool that will get our point across without a confrontation. That's where the doorhanger comes
in. These can be hung on doors, cars, the OUTSIDE of a mailbox, etc.,
anyplace you can hang an item to get it noticed. It is an excellent way to get educational materials into the hands
of an irresponsible owner without a confrontation.
You can print the doorhanger to your own printer and make a difference in the life
of a pit bull and his or her owner. The doorhanger will fit the standard 81/2 x 11 sheet of paper. Fold it in
half longways, cut out the hole at the top and you are all ready to pass along some very important information.
