Complaints to City Hall about dogs running loose - in particular pit bull terriers
- prompted legislation aimed at putting the bite on breeds deemed to be dangerous.
Aldermen are being asked to take the next month to consider the existing ordinance and the proposal Garrett
offered. The matter is scheduled to be taken up again at the board's September workshop session.
